Heartfelt, Honest, and Beautifully Real
What makes The Stranger In Me stand out is how it captures the awkwardness, humor, and wonder of growing up without feeling forced or overly sentimental. Roy Nilsson is flawed yet endearing, and the book’s slice-of-life moments—sometimes funny, sometimes painful—feel lived-in and true. A rich cross-generational read.
