 In chapter 36: The Road To Satsop, Roy is a 17 year old high School senior when he meets Inga the beautiful Swedish exchange student at the Cascadia Cafe.  Inga is 19 and attending college at the University of Washington.

The author did meet and fall for the beautiful and smart tall Swedish blonde with a gorgeous smile.  I don’t know what she saw in me, or maybe it was the Honda 90 motorbike but we cruised around the town and hills of Issaquah all that spring. Then, like a summer storm it was all over as quickly as it had begun.  I was crushed of course but went to get a bigger Honda motorcycle.  RM
